Medical Doctor Jacek Kąpinski is a graduate of the First Faculty of Medicine in Warsaw.
He began his “adventure” in orthopedics at the MON hospital on Szaserów 128. He worked in the Department of Traumatology and then Orthopedics at the aforementioned hospital. Here he became infected with a passion for pediatric orthopedics. For many years he worked at the hospital Children’s Hospital named after professor Bogdanovich Street. Niekłańska in Warsaw.
He is currently exploring his interests in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology, continuing his career at Children’s Hospital in Dziekanow Leśny.
His special area of interest is congenital and acquired foot defects, with a special focus on clubfoot and its treatment according to the Ponseti method.
Medical Doctor Jacek Kąpinski – experience
He completed an internship at the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Iowa Health Care Media Relations under the supervision of Professor Jose Morcuende. Completed pediatric orthopedics courses organized by the European Society of Orthopedic Surgeons Children’s (EPOS – BAT), the pediatric section of the Polish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (School pediatric orthopedics vol1 and vol2 ) and others related to pediatric orthopedics (AO Pediatrics). He continues to explore his knowledge and develop his skills by attending courses and trainings at home and abroad .
Since the beginning of his career, he has been performing hip ultrasounds as part of preventive care Developmental hip dysplasia. He has completed basic and advanced courses in the aforementioned method, taught personally by Professor Graf, the creator of the method.
